Friend,       After passing some of the most racist anti-voter legislation in decades, Georgia has not even paused to take a breath before starting their campaign to silence Black voters.   The GOP-controlled election boards in Georgia are weaponizing their new voting restrictions to attack counties where Biden won by a landslide. Most recently, a small, quickly-corrected clerical error was used as justification to undermine confidence in Fulton County’s election results as a way to undermine voting in the Atlanta area.   The nation is watching, we won’t let this happen on our watch.         SIGN HERE - overturn Georgia’s racist election laws         What you’re seeing now looks a lot like the voter suppression efforts that civil rights leaders dedicated their lives to dismantling. The Supreme Court overturning the Voting Rights Act of 1965 has brought us back to the Jim Crow era, a time when Black voters had to pay poll taxes, pass arcane quizzes, and risk their very lives in order to practice their constitutional right to vote.
