Dear friend,
Fox
“News” has paid Dominion Voting Systems more than $780 million in a
landmark settlement of the lawsuit over Fox News’ 2020 election lies.1
But one lawsuit won’t do enough to limit their toxic role in our
country’s politics. We can’t let Fox get out of this that easily. While
the network will quickly try to move forward and sweep the lawsuit under
the rug, we must demand they take accountability and apologize for
lying about the 2020 election.
Will you sign the petition to demand that Fox apologize on-air for its lies?
The
public needs to clearly understand the dangerous deceit and wrongdoing
committed by Fox, and the network’s role in peddling lies and conspiracy
theories that threatened our democracy.
The
lawsuit demonstrated that top Fox News executives knew its anchors were
lying to viewers, but stayed quiet to protect profits and viewership.2
