A federal judge in Amarillo, Texas has banned mifepristone, the most commonly used medical abortion drug, nationwide. The ban has not yet taken effect, pending appeal, and could go all the way to the Supreme Court.

Judge Matthew Kasmaryck invalidated the FDA's nearly two decade-old approval of mifepristone. But Congress can fight back against this travesty.
